Biography
Farquhar (Macrae) Macrae of Inverinate is a member of Clan MacRae.
Farquhar Macrae was born in 1580 in Ellandonan, Scotland, son of Christopher McRae (1550–~1600) and Isabella Murchison (1556–1625).[1]
Farquhar (30) married Christina McCulloch (20) (born in 1590 in Ross, Cromarty; daughter of Duncan MacCulloch and Isabella Murchison) on December 1, 1611. Their children were:
- Alexander Macrae (>1611–1711)
- John Ian Breac Macrae (1614–1673)
- Isabel Macrae (~1616–1690)
- Murdoch Macrae (~1617–1700)
- Donald Macrae (~1618–~1681)
- Miles MacRae (~1620–~1690)
- Helen Macrae (~1624– )
Farquhar died in January, 1662 in Kintail, Ross, Scotland, aged 81. He was buried in Clachan Duich Old Burial Ground, Inverinate, Highland.[1]
