MCCLURE - Caroline M. Snook, 79, of 338 Whiskey Road Ext., McClure, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at Lewistown Hospital. Born June 24, 1923, in Blair County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Anna (Christovic) Treaster.
Her husband, Palmer B. Snook whom she married Dec. 2, 1940, survives. Also surviving are: two sons, James W. Snook, Lewistown, and Larry L. Snook, McClure; six brothers and sisters, Valda Freed, Lewistown, Vivian Benner, Norfolk, VA, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Starr, Avon, NY, Mrs. Harry (Anna) Smith Jr., Mt. Union, Eugene Treaster, Mechanicsburg, and Dorothy Egger, Louisiana; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Iona Horne.
She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
A Rite of Christian Burial was held at Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, with Father Thomas Marickovic officiating. Interment was in Lauver's Cemetery.
