Rev. Rowland (Green) Berkeley was born in 1675. He was the son of Henry (Green) Berkeley and Elizabeth Berkeley. He married Mary Bohun, daughter of George Bohun. He died in 1731.
He was given the name of Rowland Green at birth, and he assumed the surname Berkeley in 1696 per the terms of the will of his paternal grandfather and succeeded him at Cotheridge Hall. He held the office of High Sheriff of Worcestershire in 1711.
