Biography

George worked as a laborer. On 07 February 1916, he died two hours after an accident occurred on the job in Snyder County. His pelvis was crushed by being caught in the machinery. He was only 21 years old. He was buried in New Berlin Cemetery, New Berlin, Union County, Pennsylvania, USA.

NOTES:

1. There is an error on his gravestone. It says that he died on 17 February 1916. However, his death certificate says he died on 07 Feb. , and it included three signatures dated between 08 Feb-11 Feb.
2. Another possible error is his birth date. The gravestone says 18 May while the death certificate says 14 May. I wonder if a baptismal record can be found to clarify birth date. - Benfer-47 11:53, 27 September 2016 (EDT))
