Biography
Mary, the widow of John Pratt of Dorchester, married, second, the widower Capt. William Turner as his second wife. In attempting to date the marriage, Clarence Almon Torrey offered only "b[efore] 1 April 1671", but it seems likely that the marriage took place well before that, and perhaps not long after John Pratt's death at Dorchester in 1647.
William Turner was again left a widower before the turn of the year 1675-76, when he was again remarried, to the widow Mary Alsop on 16 February. The exact date of Mary (Unknown) [Pratt] Turner's death has however not yet been determined.
