Biography
Thomas was born about 1795. He is the son of Thomas Twysden and Isabella Duncan.
He was the Rector of Charlton, at Kingsbridge in Devon.
He married Elizabeth Fortescue, daughter of Edmund Nathaniel William Fortescue in 1827. They had 4 children:
- Isabella Elizabeth Twysden d. 10 Feb 1910
- Edith Pierrepont Twysden
- James Stevenson Twysden 1828-1910
- Edmund Fortescue Twysden 1832-1864
