Biography
Ellen Fitzgibbon was the daughter of Edmond Fitzgibbon, 11th White Knight, and his wife Joan Tobyn.
Ellen married 2 different "MacCarthy Reagh" men -- first Cormac and then, after Cormac's death prior to 1612, she married Finghin, son of Sir Owen MacCarthy Reagh, 16th Prince of Carbery. Finghin was the first cousin of Cormac's father Donal-na-Pipi, 17th Prince of Carbery. It appears that Ellen had children by both men, and her son Donal (whose father was Cormac) was the principal heir.
