Earnest Howard Marbury was born on 24 Aug 1902 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was the son of Ernest Marbury and Addie Yarbrough. Earnest passed away in Chicago, Illinois on 12 Sep 1960 and was buried in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Jonesboro, Arkansas..[1][2]

25 Jun 1923: E. H. Marbury and Lelia MGarity are married in Jackson County, Arkansas. The record notes that E. H. was 21 years old and a resident of Newport, Arkansas.[3][4]

11 Apr 1936: Lelia Marbury, wife of Ernest Marbury passed away in Craighead County, Arkansas.[5][6]

12 May 1939: Ernest Howard Marbury and Florence Frank are married in Craighead county, Arkansas. The record indicates that Ernest was 36 years old and a resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas.[7][8]

1940 Census: Howard (37) and Florence (32) Marbury are living in Jonesboro, Arkansas where Howard is the meat market manager in a retail grocery store. The record shows that Howard was born in Arkansas. There are 5 children in the household: Jay J (9), Nellie A. (5), and Howard L. (4) Marbury; Annie Mae (15) and Fannie L. (14) Monday.
