Biography

Eunice was born in Stow, Middlesex, Massachusetts on 29 May 1816. She is the daughter of Guy C. Brown and Eunice Robinson. She married first, Abel Howe in Stow, Middlesex, Massachusetts on 3 Dec 1835.^[1] They had four (known) children: 1). Francena "Fannie" Agnes, b. in Stow on 01 Sep 1837. 2). John Henry b. in Stow on 25 May 1839. 3). Sarah Jennison b. in Stow on 22 Oct 1840. 4). William Porter b. in Stow on 23 Apr 1843.^[2] The 1850 Censu shows a 32 year old Eunice was living with her 41 year old husband, Abel; her oldest daughter Francena, at age 13; oldest son John, at age 12; daughter Sarah, at age 10; and the youngest child, William, at age 8.^[3] In 1859, Eunice lost her husband, Abel who died in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts on 20 Apr 1859. Eunice married second, Jabez Huntingdon in Marlborough on 26 Feb 1863; no known children. After his death in 1879, she married third, Dr. Herman Chandler in Hudson, Middlesex, Massachusetts on 25 Dec 1884; no known children from this marriage. Eunice died in Hudson, Middlesex, Massachusetts on 14 Oct 1903. She is buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Marlborough.^[4]
