William Lester Hullinger was born on October 2, 1921, in Cedarview, Utah, his father, William, was 36 and his mother, Nellie Levina (Wyman) Hullinger, was 37. He married Feza Gwen Penfold the daughter of Walter Eugene and Charlene (Longacre) Penfold on December 21, 1940 in Uintah County, Utah. They had eight children 4 sons and 4 daughters in 14 years. Lester served in the U.S. Army from 1945 - 1947. He had worked as a gilsonite miner, rancher, telephone maintenance and in the oilfield. he was a member of the LDS Church, Maeser 2nd Ward. Lester really enjoyed life and had a great sense of humor. He was always teasing or had a joke to tell. Les was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died this day October 16, 2000, in Vernal, Utah, at the age of 79, after suffering heart and kidney problems. He was buried at Roosevelt Memorial Park, in Roosevelt, Utah.
