After Mary's husband A.P. Mays died, she married (2) John Marshall Meals on 7 Apr 1885 in Gibson Co. Their marriage record states he was born in New Market, AL and she was born in Spring Creek, TN.
She married (3) W.J. Henderson in Madison Co., TN on 23 Feb 1892. She is a widower in 1910 census in Hill Co., TX, where she was living with her sister Emeline Frances Johnson's family. Most census records list her as Mary or Mary S.A., but in 1870 census she is found as Sarah M. in Gibson Co., TN.
