Mr. Benjamin Hallock, 74, of RR2, Box 2474, Laceyville, PA, died at his home on North Flat, on Sunday evening, April 20, 2008.Benjamin was born on North Flat, on Feb. 7, 1934, the younger son of the late Alfred S. and Dana Keeney Hallock. Growing up on North Flat, Ben was a member of the last graduating class of the late Laceyville High School class of 1955. Ben later graduated from the Penn State University, with a B.S. Degree in Dairy Science. Ben and his brother, Jim, operated Arrowhead Farm Registered Holstein Cattle, since the death of their father. Benjamin was a member of the Holstein Association, and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. Surviving is his brother, James Hallock of Laceyville, as well as several cousins. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the North Flat Cemetery. Arrangements were made through the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Laceyville, PA.
