Birth
1868 Marriage
Thomas Nash Carpenter and Elizabeth Ann Sherlock who married in Clerkenwell in 1868 (the registration district Holborn includes Clerkenwell). Elizabeth has already died by the time of the 1891 census though. [1]
1882 Birth of son George
George Bertram Holbern Carpenter (mother Sherlock), was born September 1882. [2]
1891 Census
In the 1891 Census the transcriber has unfortunately decided the family name was Carpenito [3]

Thomas is described as widower, a fishmonger, and born in the parish of All Hallows Barking - a very well known church which, despite its name, is actually in the City of London https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Hallows-by-the-Tower [5]
