She was the eldest of the 4 daughters and coheiresses of Oliver St John and his wife Arbella Egerton, daughter of the Earl of Bridgwater.
She passed away in September 1658 soon after the birth of her son St John Becher.
- Visitations of Bedfordshire, page 194, St John, of Bletsoe. Frances is at bottom left. Note this is under "Additional Pedigrees": it's a compiled pedigree, not contemporary Visitation evidence. The compiler was unaware that Frances's father died vp and was therefore never Earl of Bolingbroke.
