Sarah Bratcher[1] was born about 1820 in Tennessee.[2]
She married George Brooks on 06 Jan 1844 in Campbell County, Tennessee[1][2]and the couple had the following known children:
- Nathaniel Brooks was born about 1845 in Tennessee.[2]
- William Preston Brooks was born 15 Jul 1847 in Tennessee, died 08 Dec 1921 and is buried in Baird Cemetery, Elk Valley, Campbell County, Tennessee.[3][2]
- Martha Brooks was born about 1850 in Tennessee.[2]
- Elizabeth Brooks was born about 1852 in Tennessee.[2]
- James Brooks was born about 1856 in Tennessee.[2]
- Mary Brooks was born about 1859 in Tennessee.[2]
Sarah died about 1870 probably in Campbell County, Tennessee and her husband George married the widow Barbara Abbott on 30 Apr 1871 in Campbell County, Tennessee[4]
