Margaret Janeece (Jan) Tilton Jackson was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 30, 2014 after a lengthy illness. She was known as Jan to family and friends. She was born to William Henry and Amy Ruth Tilton on January 25, 1947. She went to Fairpark High School and married her husband Gerald Wayne Jackson Sr. on October 17, 1964. She was a life long resident of Shreveport, Louisiana and of the Baptist faith. She retired from Circle K after being with them for many years. Jan loved to fish, read, and spend time with her grandbabies. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings. She is survived by her children Wayne "Jay" Jackson, Janeece Free and Husband Danny, Jeana Rosas and husband Chris, Son-in-law Randall Shovan, and Daughter-in-law Amy Middleton; 9 grandchildren, Mystie Crank and husband Denny, Roger Presley, Mandi Wood and husband Garrett, Brandi Robinson and husband Damien, Christa Shovan, Kaylee Jackson Shovan, Colton Shovan, Kylie Shovan, and Laura Jackson; 4 step grandchildren, Danielle, Laura, Shelby, and Jon David. Her greatest blessings were her 10 great grandchildren, Anakah, Austin, Carliegh, Gage, Junior, Cameron, Alyssa, Carmen, Annabelle, and Graham; 4 step great grandchildren, Devin, Raquelle, Capree, and Anthony. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were very close to her heart. Mrs. Jackson was loved by many and will be missed dearly. A special thanks to the CCU nurses and doctors at Corner Stone Hospital, amazing care for her and her family. Also thanks to loving friends and family for their contributions.
