Jeremiah was born in 1800. Jeremiah Seals ... He passed away in 1831.[1]
Research Notes
- I removed Hanccock as a death location. Jeremiah could not have died in Hancock County, Tenn, as the county didn't exist until 1844. If he died in 1831, he died in either Claiborne or Hawkins County.
- I have searched for, but been unable to locate a Jeremiah Seal confirmed son of Solomon. There is a Jeremiah Seal (Family Search ID: 9VHZ-M6V), born 1770 in NC, husband of Rachael, died 1840 in Claiborne, Co. that might be this Jeremiah, but beware, the sources attached are questionable:
- 1800 Census of Mecklenburg, NC does not have headers to deffine the categories of the census.
- 1820 Census of Rockingham NC is not this Jeremiah. This Jeremiah born ~1770, that Jeremiah born ~1755.
- 1830 Census Claiborne Co, Tn, may be this Jeremiaah, but this wife rebecca born ~1775, wife in census born 1780-17900.
