Biography
Mary Lucile Bradford was born on 18 Nov 1887 in Lauderdale, Tennessee to parents Richard Clarence Bradford and Parthenia Adeline Tilman. She married Jesse Clayton Alexander Sr. on 20 May 1914 in Lonoke, Arkansas. Children: Jesse Clayton Alexander Jr. She died on 30 Aug 1973 in Cabot, Arkansas.
Obituary, Arkansas Gazette Saturday, 9/1/1973, p 11B: "Mrs. Mary Alexander Gazette State News Service. CABOT - Mrs. Mary Bradford Alexander, aged 85 of West Virginia, formerly of Cabot, died Thursday. She was a member of Cabot First United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son Jesse D. Alexander Jr. of Maryland; three sisters, Miss Ruth Bradford of Virginia, Mrs. Y. Brown of Tennessee and Mrs. Blanche Galloway of Beebe and a grandchild. Funeral will be at 10:30 Monday at Todd Funeral Chapel here, Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery."
