Philip Augustus Champion_de_Crespigny was born on 24 July 1850 in Witham, Essex.[1]

He married Annie Rose Charlotte Key on 1 October 1878 in St Augustine, South Kensington, London,England.[2] Philip and Rose had four children:

  1. Phyllis Rose 1880–1946
  2. Henry 1882–1946
  3. Frederick Philip 1884–1947
  4. Edmund Alexander 1890–1905

Philip died on 4 September 1912 in Hampshire at the age of 62.[3]
