Biography

Charlotte Matilda Faris was born around 1846 in Dublin, Ireland. She was the third daughter of John Faris, Esq, solicitor, and Clamina Beggs.

On 22nd August 1867 she married Patrick McCallum at the Presbyterian Church in St Kilda Victoria.^[1][2]

They had a child, Charlotte Matilda Faris McCallum who was born in early 1869.^[3]

Charlotte died on 27 February 1869 (aged 23 years) at Wirrah Station on the Barwon River, NSW.^{[4] [5]}

Their baby Charlotte died aged 1, on 14 February 1870, and was buried in a plot in St Kilda Cemetery, along with two cousins - children of John and Kezia Jane McCallum, who were Patrick's Uncle and Aunt.^[6]
