• John Betts' Brother in law, John Gregory, was executor of his estate, along with his brother Joseph. ^[2]

His will is dated 1 April 1760 with witnesses sworn on 14 June 1760 and proved on 17 June 1760 in Fairfield.^[3]

His inventory was recorded in Fairfield on 5 July 1760.^[4]

The estate distribution was done on 7 October 1761.^[5]
