Robert Symes Entwistle was born on October 13, 1872 in Middlesex, England, United Kingdom, son of Charles Entwistle (1835– ) and Rosina Victoria Symes (1836– ).

Robert (32) married Emily Stevenson (26) (born about 1877 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England; daughter of John Lester Stevenson and Caroline Amelia (Smith) Stevenson) on November 3, 1904 in St. Thomas Parish, Birmingham, Warwick, England.^[1][2] Their daughter was Millicent Lilian Entwistle (1908–1932).

Robert (41) then married Lauretta A Ross (29) (born about 1884 in Kentucky; daughter of Henry Milton Ross and Matilda Olive Bleaks) on July 29, 1914 in Clarklake, Jackson, Michigan.^[3]

Robert died on December 19, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, United States, aged 50.^{[4] [5]}
