Lachlan Mackintosh, 19th of Mackintosh was the son of William McIntosh,18th of Mackintosh and Margaret Graham
Continued the 300 year old feud with the Camerons disputing the lands of Glenoy and Loch Arkaig. He was captured by MacDonalds at the Battle of Mulroy in 1688 but was later rescued by the Clan Macpherson.
He was presented with the sword used by Viscount Dundee who was killed at the Battle of Killiecrankie in 1689. The sword is now preserved in Moy Hall.
He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in August 1672. In 1680 a position to which Macphers of Cluny had laid claim and matric arms at the LO. He fought in the Battle of Mulroy in 1688, against the Macdonalds, the last clan battle fought between highlanders. He lived at Torcastle, Scotland.

Second Wife = Anne Munro, daughter of General Sir George Munro of Newmore and Culrain.
