Biography
John Foley, son of Richard Foley and his wife, Alice Brindley, was baptised at Old Swinford in Worcestershire on 20 July 1631. [1]
He was recorded as a Turkey merchant aged 50 in 1682. [2]
When his nephew, Richard Foley died in 1684 John inherited the north Staffordshire works of the family enterprise, then died himself that November. His heir was his brother-in-law, Henry Glover. [3]
