"James parents were Ebenezer Worden and Mary E. Churchhill.
James was a Civil War Union Soldier who eventually lived and likely died in the "Soldier's Home" in Grand Rapids, Mi. before transport to Saginaw's Oakwood Cemeteries where many Worden family members are interred.
It is noted that James was included on his wife's stone upon her passing years later."[3]
