7. ↑ Source: #S236 Southbridge Herald, Thurs., 27 Dec 1923 Certainty: 3  : "The funeral of Onesime Desrosiers, who died Thursday night Dec.20, at St.Francis home, Worcester, at the age of 81 years, was held Saturday, a requiem mass being held in Notre Dame church at 8 o'clock, Rev. L.O. Triganne officiating. Burial was in St.George's cemetery, in charge of Phillippe Dagenais, undertaker. Deceased was born in the Province of Quebec, and came to Southbridge about 40 years ago. He was a blacksmith and painter by trade and worked at these two branches until his eyesight failed him some four years ago. He is survived by two sons and four daughters." Southbridge Press, 28 Dec 1923: "The funeral of Onesime Desrosier, who died Thursday night, was held Saturday at Notre Dame church. In recent years he had lived at St. Francis home, in Worcester, where he died. He was 81 years, and was born in Canada. For about 40 years he lived in this town, carrying on the blacksmith and wheelwright trades, which he had t o relinquish because of failing eyesight."
