Biography

Mary Duane (b. 1762)

daughter of James Duane (1733–1797), the 44th Mayor of New York City and U.S. District Judge for the District of New York, appointed by George Washington.

October 14, 1787, married William North (1755-1836), six children.

Her ledger stone is on the wall of Christ Church, in Duanesburg,^[1]
