Henry Mackworth was born in Lincolnshire, England.
Henry Mackworth was a member of the aristocracy in England.
Henry Mackworth son of Sir Thomas Mackworth Bart. of Normanton in Rutland [1] and his wife, Margaret Hall,[2] was baptised at his mother's home Gretford in Lincolnsire on 22 October 1598. [3]He matriculated from St John's College, Cambridge in 1616 and was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1617. [3]
Henry succeeded to his father's baronetcy in March 1626 and served a Sheriff of Rutland 1627-28.[3]
He married Mary Hopton daughter of Robert Hopton of Wittam in Somerset [1] and his wife, Jane Kemeys, widow of Sir Thomas Hartopp. [2]
He died on 24 August 1640 and was buried at Empingham.[3]
