- Note 15: The birthdate of 24 Mar 1843 for Louisa Bruen WHITEHOUSE is from "Find a Grave". It is consistent with the census of 1850 which lists her as aged 7. Later censuses give a date range of 1841- 1850.
- No Children
- One of the birthdates for either Louise or Frederick Cope is incorrect, being too close together (less than 8 months apart). Further research is required, entered as indicated by WFHC, until otherwise sourced.
- Wikipedia [2] in the article of her father sets her birth year as 1850, which is not supported by citation.
