Biography
James William Morris was born Nov. 6, 1918 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Thomas Franklin Morris and 1st wife Ethelia (Brooksher) Morris [later Gillock]. [1]
He married (1) Phoebe E. Rogers on Dec. 28, 1940 in Clark Co., Washington.[2] Their union ended in divorce by 1949.[3]
He married (2) German-born Anna Elise Thamer on Sept. 27, 1952 in Bad Hersfeld, Hesse, Germany.[4]
James died on June 14, 1988 in Los Angeles Co., California[5] and was buried at Los Angeles National Cemetery in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.
