Biography
Elizabeth was born about 1598. She married first George Shilleto; they had no children, he died, and left her the estate at Seacroft. She brought this to her marriage to Ralph, but it was not passed to Ralph's children, but sold around 1650. Seacroft is now a suburb of Leeds, and a cluster of 'Hansby' streets in this suburb is surely named for Sir Ralph and Lady Hansby.
She passed away in 1673; her will is at the National Archives; she does not leave anything to her stepson Ralph.
