I am looking for Edward's future wife. Her name was Margaret Kittredge and she had a sister named Ann, Anna, Anne or Annie. I found two Kittredge families in Massachusetts that had a Margaret and Ann as sisters in 1910. One lived in Boston, Ward 14 on 94 Emerson Street and one lived in Clinton on 236 South Main Street. Even though the Margaret in Clinton is younger than expected and she is Margaret T., rather than Margaret M., I think she may be the one. It is possible that she should actually be Margaret T. Marriage to Margaret M. Kittredge
Edward married Margaret M. Kittredge in Leominster, Massachusetts in 1925.
There was a Kittredge family that lived in Leominster, but later lived in "Boston Ward 9, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States" in the 1920 Census. Perhaps Margaret was living there. She was back in Leominster again in the 1930 Census. In 1920 and in 1930 Margaret and Anne were living in the same household and Margaret is several years older than Anne. I think the Boston Ward 9 family is the Kittredge family that lived in Leominster. I will research it later. In the 1900 Census Margaret (Maggie) and Anne (Annie) lived in the household of Malachi and Bridgett Kittredge in "Leominster town (southeast quarter), Worcester, Massachusetts, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) 1645", on 356 Central Street, Image 77 of 83 at ancestry.com. In 1900, Edward Joseph McCaffrey was living on 46 Cross Street, Image 24 of 83 at ancestry.com.
1910 will need to be researched.
In 1920, I found 13 Kittredges living in Leominster, Massachusetts, but 0 Margaret Kittredges. Based on first name and age none were possible choices. I found 5 Margaret Kittredges living in Clinton, Massachusetts. All seemed either too old or too young. Edward's to-be wife Margaret M. Kittredge would have been about 34 years old. They were:
