George Earl Dent (96), son of Mary Bell Price and Arthur Joseph Dent, passed away peacefully March 31, in Delta Utah.
He was born December 28, 1920 in Lewiston, Utah.
He graduated from Logan High School.
He went to California for work in 1941.
He met a lovely lady, named Naomi Irene Rose. They were married January 24, 1942, moved to Lewiston, Utah and became the parents of four children.
After the birth of the fourth child Naomi passed away of bone cancer.
He met Naomi Grace Joy and they were married April 7, 1948. They lived in Salt Lake City.
He was a home decorator by trade. After retirement the couple moved to Lewiston, Utah and spent their remaining years with their horses and doing family history research, their other love.
Preceding Earl in death are his parents, siblings, wives, and two daughters Earleen Dent Horman and Janice Dent Vernon.
He is survived by his four sons, Verden (Christine) Dent Fountain Green, Utah; David (Jody) Dent Vernal, Utah; Dennis (Kathy) Dent Mesa, Arizona; and Craig (Ann) Dent, Gold Hill, Oregon. Also many, many grand, great grand and great great grand children.
Services will be held at the LDS chapel at 10 South 1600 West (not the one on Main street) Lewiston, Wednesday April 5th, 2017, viewing at 11:30 am and service at 1:00 pm.
Internment following in the Lewiston City Cemetery.
