Biography
Sarah McDow was born on 19 Jan 1821 in Georgia.
Around 1840 Sarah married Almarine Vandivere. Between 1841 and 1855 Sarah gave birth to their five children. The 1860 census[1] shows Sarah raising her family in the Creek Nation Territory west of Arkansas where Almarine is a baptist missionary.
Almarine died in 1867. Sarah Vandivere passed away on 14 Jan 1876 in Rockdale, Milam County, Texas. She is burried[2] at Little River Cemetery, Jones Prairie, Milam County, Texas next to Almarine.
