Biography

Tilmon Bethel Foster was born 15 Nov 1852 in Tennessee to John M. "Johnie" and Martha A. R. Foster.^[1][2][3]

He was married 20 Dec 1877 to Maranda Smith in DeKalb County, Tennessee^[4][1] and the couple had the following known children:

1. William E. Foster was born in Tennessee about 1879.^[5]
2. Oscar L. Foster was born in February of 1880 in Tennessee.^[5]

Tilmon died 10 Jul 1931 in Smithvile, Warren County,Tennessee.^[1]and was buried 11 Jul 1931 in Fuston Cemetery, Gath, Warren County, Tennessee.^[1][6]
