Victoria Albano is born 5 March 1907 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of Carmine Albano and Teresa Calabrese. Her parents live at 5 Union Street. Her father is a laborer. Both parents were born in Italy.[1] The state record of her death confirms the date of her birth.[2]
Enrico Daniele and Vittoria Albano are named in the obituary of their daughter, Louise.[3] Enrico and Vittoria have seven known children: Louise (1929), Anna A./Nita (c. 1931), Ciro J. (1934), Carlo Enrico (c. 1936), Carmino (1938), Lucille T./Lucy (1944), and Gerald/Egor.
In the 1940 federal census of Springfield, taken 11 April, Enrico heads a household at 123 Wilcox St. He is at the same address as his in-laws, Carmino and Theresa Albano, and their two unmarried daughters, Anna and Rose.
Enrico, 40 (b. 1900), and Victoria, 33 (b. 1907), and children Louise, 10 (b. 1929), Anna, 9 (b. 1931), Ciro, 5 (b. 1934), Carlo, 4 (b. 1936), and Carmino, 1 (b. 1938), all born in MA. Enrico is a laborer in a drop forge.[7]
Carmino marries Judith. They live in Longmeadow; so does Lucy.
Carlo is married to Patricia. They live in Wilbraham.
Enrico dies at age 76[9]on 18 February 1976 in Springfield, MA.[10]
Vittoria dies in Springfield on 9 August 1988.[2] She is 81.
Ciro is arrested on illegal gambling charges in 1989.[11]
Anna, called Nita, does not marry. She dies at age 61 (b. 1931) on 13 September 1991. Her obituary names her surviving siblings: three brothers, Carlo of Wilbraham, and Ciro and Carmino , both of Springfield; and two sisters, Lucy Daniele of Longmeadow and Louise Gianfelice of Springfield.
