Biography
Cleta was born on June 27, 1938 in Wolverton, MN to Cleva and Ida Hiebert. She was the seventh of eleven children. She was baptized in Christ Lutheran Church on July 10, 1938 and confirmed on June 1, 1952 in Grace Lutheran Church.She moved with her family from Wolverton to Antioch, CA in 1943. She attended Moxee schools and worked at Bayly Manufacturing and Del Monte canneries.Cleta met her future husband, Wes Den Beste, and they were married June 27, 1961.They also shared the same birthday. A very special blessing!! They began their new married life farming in Moxee. They were blessed with two daughters, Carrie Den Beste and Sherri (Scott) McLean.Devoted wife and mother Cleta worked diligently beside her husband on the family farm.She tended a large flower garden, which included roses, her favorite.Cleta was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran and Redeemer Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her time working with preschool children. Among them Beth Riese, who brought her many blessings and happiness throughout her life.
Cleta was buried at the Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, USA.
