Biography
John was born in 1763. He was the son of George Harris and Mary Hobbs. John was Baptised in Ashwater, as were all his siblings. After his father George Harris died in 1736 John took over the Middlecroft farm. Land Tax Records indicate he bought the property but died after a few years. He passed away in 1829. [1]
