Biography
Eugene was born in 1935, likely in Pleasantville, Lunenburg County as that is where his family lived. He was the son of Firmin Lohnes and Inez Baker. He passed away in 2012.
Eugene worked several jobs over the years including on the Great Lakes aboard ship in the Engine Room, in a Uranium Mine Elliot Lake BC, and was then trained in the States to be Foreman in a plastics plant in BC, Michelin Tire, Bridgewater and Riverport Fish Plant on Forklift (from obituary).
