Biography

Lt. Col. Arthur Hazlerigg was a member of the aristocracy in England.

He was the son of Sir Arthur Grey Hazlerigg, 12th Bt. and Henrietta Phillipps.^[1]He was born on the 10th of January 1837.^[1]He married Janet Edith Orr Ewing, daughter of Sir Archibald Orr Ewing of Ballikinrain, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Lindsay Reid, on the 9th of January 1878.^[1][2]He died on the 16th of July 1880 at the age of 43 at Pretoria, Transvaal, South Africa.^[1][3]
