Biography
Henry Frederick Stephenson was born in 1790, the illegitimate son of Charles Howard, Duke of Norfolk and Elizabeth Stephenson daughter of Isaac Stephenson of Whitehaven in Cumberland. [1] He was educated at Sedburgh, Trinity Hall, Cambridge and Middle Temple. [1]
On 27 February 1826 he married Lady Mary Keppel, daughter of William Charles Keppel, Earl of Albermarle and his wife, Elizabeth Southwell.[1] They were parents of 6 sons and 9 daughters.[1]
He passed away in July 1858. [1]
