Born in Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker and member of Wesleyan Builders, Star Circle, Ruth Fellowship, T.O.P.S. and First Wayne Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughters, Cat Voors (Nita Seabaugh) and Susan (John Bierbaum) Kahn, both of Fort Wayne; sons, Dan (Patti) Criswell of Fort Wayne and Ron (Cindy) Criswell of Roanoke; eight grandchildren, Jenni, Sarah, Laura, Jeff, Patrick, Greg, Tina and Peter, all of Fort Wayne; two great-grandchildren, Alice and Celia, both of Fort Wayne; brother, Richard Friend of Middleton, Wis.; sisters, Beatrice Helms of Powell, Tenn. and Donna Lahey of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor W. Criswell in 1996, and two brothers, Raymond and Robert Friend. Service is 2 p.m. Monday, with calling one hour prior, at First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 E. Wayne St. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at D.O.
