Henry Whistler was born about 1866 in Sherbourne St John, Hampshire, England. [1]
On 27 September 1898 he married Helen Frances Mary Ward at St Luke's church, Westbourne Park, Middlesex. [2]
In 1911, they were living at Court Road, Eltham, Kent along with their three children Jessie aged 10, Denis aged 7 and Reginald ("Rex") aged 5. [1]
