Biography
Neri Torjusen was born on the Tveten farm (#29) of Vinje, Bratsberg (now Telemark) County, Norway, in about 1722.
Unsourced family records state that he married (1st) Gunnil Sondresdatter, who died in April 1754.
Neri became engaged to his second wife, Margit Wetlesdatter, on April 19, 1757,[1] and they were married on July 12, 1757.[2]
On March 31, 1763, Neri's wife Margit gave birth to a daughter they named Torbjør Nerisdatter.[3]
Neri's family is included in the census of 1782 for Vinje.[4]
Neri passed away in March of 1800.[5]
