Emily was born about 1853. Emily was the second daughter of Richard Beasley,
Emily Beasley migrated from Ireland to New Zealand.
Emily's father died, and she, aged 22, embarked on a ship to New Zealand as a servant. Also on the ship were Madeline and Ellen Beasley, aged 20 and 19. They were probably her sisters. They too are listed as servants. They arrived on the Carisbrooke Castle on 8 September 1875 in Auckland. The cost of their passage was met by the Government under the assisted immigration scheme.
Emily passed away in 1878 when she was only 25 years old.
Her death notice in the Auckland Star read:
BEASLEY.—On the 19th November, at Parnell, Emily Olivia, second daughter of the late Richard Beasley, of County Kildare.
She was buried at St Stephen's Cemetery in Parnell.
