Biography
1846 Clas Johan Alexius (or "Alexis" as he preferred to be called) was born in Sundseryd Säteri.[1] His parents were noted as Carl Joel Sandberg and wife Gustafva Henrica Butsch. They were the owners of Sundseryds Säteri (a large farm) so apparently they were relatively rich people.
1863 Alexis and his younger sister Emilia Sophia Emerentia moved from Sundseryd, Bottnaryd to Risa, Bjurbäck, the farm of Cårl Wahlin and Carolina Butsch (Alexis' Aunt, who had inherited the farm where the sisters Carolina and Gustafva were born).[2],[3]
1876 Alexis must have met Kristina Karlsdotter at the end of the year and made her pregnant.[4]
1877 Kristina gave birth to their son Axel Fredrik on Sept 11th.[5] Alexis is noted as the father.
1878 Anna Sofia Johansdotter reported "äktenskapsjäv" (opposition against marriage) on the 21 Sep for Alexis. Anna Sofia was also a maid in the same household as Kristina, and perhaps she too was having relations with Alexis as she gave birth to an illegitimate daughter on 14 Jan 1879.[6]
1881 Alexis moved from Risa, Bjurbäck to Falköping on 8 Oct. [7]There is a note by his name that he had been a farming student while in Risa.
1884 Alexis moved from Falkoping to Stockholm on 19 Mar[8]
1912 Alexis died on Sept. 1 in Oscar, Stockholm.[9]
