Biography
Robert Galbreath was born about 1682.
Robert married the widow Mary Durham Dodson on the 29th of September 1743 in Richmond County, Virginia.
Robert made his will on the 10th of October 1749 in Lancaster county, Virginia. Robert's will names: Richard Weir; Ezekiel Morris and Margaret (actually Katherine) Carter. Executor was cousin Richard Weir and witnesses were: Isaac White, and Michael Dillon. Robert's will was recorded on the 9th of March 1749. Robert had left a bequest to Katherine Carter, who had intermarried with Humphrey Jones after Robert's death. A lawsuit was filed on the 29th September 1752 between Isaac White as Plantiff vs. Katherine Jones Defendant.[1]
