Biography
Sir Peter Saltonstall (Saltingstall), Knt. of Barkway, Hertfordshire, was the third son of Sir Richard Saltonstall of London & South Okeden, Essex and Susan, sister of Sir Gabriel Poyntz.[1] He was knighted by James I in 1605.[8]
