Biography
Benjamin Franklin Simmons was born about 1766 in Butte County, North Carolina. He was the son of Isaac Simmons, and Ruth Craig.
On September 24, 1789 he married Jean McBride in Guilford County, North Carolina and they had ten children together. [1] He then married Katherine Tomalson and they had ten children together.
Benjamin passed away in February 1843 having lived a long life of 77 years, and was buried in Ben Franklin, Delta County, Texas.
