Robert Janes was Involved in Disaster, Biological, 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic

Robert Janes was born on 7 March 1890. He was the son of James Janes and Mary E Ward.

He emigrated from England to Ontario, Canada, where he married Catherine Margaret "Maggie" Andrews Blunden (the daughter of Humphrey Blunden and Isabella Scott) on 25 April 1916 at Sarnia, Lambton, Ontario^[1]. His occupation was recorded as a Fireman.

Unlikely they had any children.

Robert Janes passed away on 15 November 1918 at the age of 28, due to Pneumonia, and was buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia, Lambton County, Ontario, Canada^[2]. PLOT: Section I, plot 43
